KLC Consulting was incorporated in April 2007 by Karl Crick.

Karl is a fully qualified FCCA member (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and started his career in Music Finance in 1996 at Gut Records where he was involved in various projects including Right Said Fred, Space, Jane McDonald and Tom Jones. It was while at Gut Records that Karl honed his skills in all aspects of music accountancy, including MCPS and artist royalty accounting.

Karl left Gut Records in 2001 and moved to Ministry of Sound. Here Karl gained experience in various areas of finance as The Ministry brand was exploited in many diverse ways, including; brand licensing, nightclubs, tours and record labels (compilations and artist releases). He left Ministry Of Sound as Finance Director in 2007 to set up KLC Consulting, and still has a very active and good relationship with the company and its directors and management.

Karl and KLC Consulting aspire to provide clear, concise and professional financial support and consultancy to ALL UK and international media companies.

The company’s client-base consists of record labels, DJs, producers and various other media clients.
